The project focuses on providing back support and assistance to females through a multifaceted approach. Additionally, we offer various skill training programs to equip women with essential capabilities and support them in pursuing entrepreneurship and gaining financial freedom.
Women empowerment is the process of enhancing women's agency, voice and participation in various spheres of life.
Why is it important?
• In order to choose for their needs and expectations, women need to have freedom, faith, and self-worth.
•Women’s true abilities often go unrecognized due to pervasive issues such as unequal pay and being confined to traditional roles within households, often relegated to tasks such as cooking and domestic chores.
• Empowering poor women enables them to confront and overcome domestic violence, social injustices, and discrimination, promoting independence and dignity.
Yukti Initiative
Yukti is an initiative dedicated to creating employment opportunities for underprivileged women in semi-urban NCR, fostering skill development and economic independence.
Yukti aims to empower women through skill-building and sustainable fashion, helping them create a better future. By focusing on eco-friendly materials and quality craftsmanship, we bridge employment and sustainability. Our unique products, such as bags and stuffed toys, not only support these women but also raise awareness of slow fashion. Through corporate volunteering and artistic events, Yukti products serve as both functional items and creative canvases, sparking dialogue on impactful change.
Employment: Currently empowering over 30 women of various ages with steady employment.
Skill Development: Provides a supportive workspace and training in the creation of eco-friendly products, including bags and stuffed toys.
Sustainability Focus: Committed to promoting sustainable, eco-friendly alternatives to fast fashion.
Impact: Produced 100+ types of bags and 200 stuffed toys, used creatively in corporate volunteering events.
